The
Africa GCC Council will convene senior business leaders, government representatives, investors, financial institutions, diplomatic partners and Gulf-based companies in Abidjan on 30 June 2026 for the Côte d’Ivoire chapter of The African Roadshow.
The event will serve as a strategic step towards African participation in AIM Congress 2026 in Dubai, one of the world’s leading platforms for investment, innovation and international economic cooperation.
Strengthening Africa–Gulf Economic Cooperation
Gulf countries are playing an increasingly important role in global investment, particularly in infrastructure, energy, logistics, agribusiness, technology, healthcare and financial services.
The Africa GCC Council is building a long-term platform to connect African markets with Gulf investors, sovereign funds, private companies and financial institutions. The Abidjan event will help Ivorian businesses better understand how to access international partners, investment opportunities and new markets.
Côte d’Ivoire as a Regional Investment Hub
Côte d’Ivoire has become one of West Africa’s most attractive business destinations, supported by economic growth, improving infrastructure and a strong regional position.
The event will highlight opportunities for Ivorian companies to engage with institutional investors, sovereign funds, commercial partners and international co-investment platforms.
Road to the Africa Pavilion at AIM Congress 2026
A major focus of the event will be the presentation of the Africa GCC Pavilion, which will be hosted at AIM Congress 2026 in Dubai.

It is designed to become a permanent platform for economic diplomacy, business cooperation and long-term investment partnerships between Africa and the Gulf.
One Million Startups Initiative
The event will also feature the presentation of the
One Million Startups Initiative, a global program supporting founders, startups and SMEs with practical knowledge, business development tools, international visibility and market-access opportunities.
For African founders, the initiative can provide structured support to validate business models, strengthen capabilities, connect with ecosystem partners and prepare for expansion into regional and international markets.
